I was going to make this post about some cool Forever 21 earrings (see title link), but I figured I'd talk about a more pressing issue: in this season of graduations and new beginnings, it's easy to think that you'll never find the same kind of guys that you had in high school. But the world is a whole lot bigger, and now you're opening yourself up to a million new guys. Chances are, you'll find someone who fits your high standards :).

Tropical style

At this time of the year, I like to fast forward with my style and pretend it's summer already. I start with a pretty dress, like this $375 Sara Maxi by Rachel Gilbert (see title link). The makeup is the key icing to the cake for the island glow. Start with some purple liner and smudge it to look more understated. Apply some gold eyeshadow into your inner corners and on your cheeks. This is such a unique, cool necklace from Smith by Zoe Chicco (see title link). At $130, the black leather and gold chains necklace is oozing bling, with the studs and plated spike charm. Super edgy and modern at the same time.

Chick Flick

Want a fun night in with your best girlfriends? I recommend watching Love Actually (see title link). It's packed with celebrities to gossip about, is totally cheesy and romantic, and pretty much one of the best chick flicks ever. The music is good, too, and it happens to be Taylor Swift's favorite movie; the star calls it "a huge quilt of stories."
