Super Illuminator

Clinique Even Better Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer SPF 20 is a great product to use to make your skin glow without makeup. It has vitamin C to brighten your complexion and improves your circulation. It also has a yeast extract to lighten the dark spots which pimples leave. Apply it every morning so it doesn't wash off. It exfoliates and leaves luminous results, all for just $43 (see title link)!

Oh Marc!

I love this Bow from Marc by Marc Jacobs. It's a giant oversize hair bow in a pretty plum color that is flirty and unique. But make sure to tie it on one side, or you'll look like a present (in a bad way). And get it right at your hairline to make it attention-grabbing (see title link)!

Insight into fashion

Check out this simple tee from Insight (see title link). It's $28, but the quality and feel are great.

Swatch

This is a great piece from Swatch. The $55 watch called the "Numbers Everywhere" model is fun, casual, but not too girly. The bright white is a unique shade with a splash of color (see title link).

Boots

I LOVE these riding boots from Tania Spinelli. They are chic and expensive, but look sophisticated and are practical (see title link)!

Missy

I love Missy Elliott's music, especially "Let Me Fix My Weave"
since it's perfect for dancing around alone in your room to feel energized. You can dance in your underwear and not have a care in the world (see title link)!

Epiduo

Elizabeth from Redwood City, CA won the Epiduo Pathway to Confidence contest, making her a spokesmodel for the prescription acne medication and a role model for finding your inner beauty (and outer beauty with the help of Epiduo, I suppose). Check out her story (see title link)!

Fort Hood

Remember the Fort Hood shootings of November? 12 people were killed and 31 wounded at a base that is supposed to be secure for our nation's defenders. There were heroes and victims (see title link), so let's take a moment to remember them.

AWKward...

Lots of girls are afraid to ask questions about the S-word. That's right, sex. But ignorance is not the answer to a very real issue in our lives. So ask questions to other girls and professionals, anonymously if you want. You'll be more informed and feel better and more secure as a result (see title link). You can get answers and information about everything from orgasms to knowing if you've had one.

Exercise. It's good for you.

Elevated split squats are great to do for exercise. Use a chair, stand three feet in front of you, leave one foot elevated on it, and then lower into squats, doing 15 reps on each leg. If you're a pro at this already, use a 3- to 5-lb. dumbbell in each hand (see title link). I'm going to start doing them (starting tomorrow, of course!)

Feel the heat

Gotta love Beyonce. The woman is successful at everything, including the world of fragrance. Her new one, called Beyonce Heat, is an amazing eau de parfum that sells for $59 per 3.4 oz. bottle. It represents everything Beyonce is: sensual, sexy, sophisticated, alluring, and so feminine. It contains rare flowers like orchids and some almond macaroons as well. It's modern, confident, and energetic. According to the singer herself, "The scent thrills and draws your in. It's elegant with an air of mystery." So go to Macy's and feel the heat!

Rusk

I just adore Rusk Wired Flexible Styling Creme. It's great to make those beautiful braided twists that look so elegant and elaborate but are so simple to create (put hair into a low pony on the side, then remove two big pieces and two small pieces, using the two large to cover your elastic and the two small to braid and twist in). This product is just $11.95 (formerly $13) and is perfect for "unmanageable, flat, coarse, brittle hair" like mine. It gives it tons of body and moisturizing support, allowing it to get texture and shine without all the frizziness. It also contains an ingredient called Thermaplex which locks in thermal protection for all of you who use heated styling products. Try it now (see title link) and you'll be ready for your Saturday night party in no time!

Primer for your face!?

This is a pricey tube, but it is literally all you need for a fresh, natural look! Too Faced Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer is $30 a pop, but it really preps your cheeks for blush to adhere to and stay vibrant, if you want to use it. But the natural hue can make your skin look flawless and give it that gorgeous flush. According to the website (see title link), it was scientifically formulated to wear under bronzers and foundation powders, it contains Vitamins A & C, Mulberry extract and a powerful dose of Retinol, which will banish pores while tired skin is left hydrated, firmer, and detoxified. Primed & Poreless creates the perfect canvas to allow makeup to airbrush onto the skin seamlessly and remain perfectly blended. Skin appears brighter, fresher and younger. Color stays true and in place all day.

LBD

This is a modern twist to a classic favorite. The David's Bridal Prom Dress Style 335638 is a beautiful black piece, fun and flirty at the same time. There are spaghetti straps and a mesh ruffle trim tulle skirt. It is $119, but you only get to do prom once, right (see title link)?

Rock that Republic!

The Rock and Republic Valentina leggings are so unique and retro. They're lowrise with this cool fashion foil detail they've got going on (see title link). This Black/Gunmetal is my personal favorite, and it costs $188. Here's AnnaLynne McCord wearing it at the Emmy Suites on September 16, 2009.

Fashion Tip

Here's a great style tip I picked up in a magazine: If you mismatch prints (gasp!) you actually rejuvenate them into a new look. They won't clash as long as they share one common color (my personal favorite is purple!). Give your basics new oomph (see title link)!

Flashy

Here's a cute accessory from Aerie, called the f.i.t. foil duffle, which brings back the 80s for a $30 price. Its light metallic feel give it pizzazz and the two straps provide practicality. The shoulder strap is adjustable as well, and the zipper ensures your belongings will be safe (see title link).

Tampax Pearl Regular Unscented tampons with plastic applicator are a great way to control your period. N.Y.C. New York Color Quick Dry Nail Polish in Greenwich Village is a $2 method of getting really hot-looking nails. The 236B shade is fiery and bold and the mineral formula ensures healthy nails. The shine is truly high-impact, and there's even a subtle shimmer for extra depth and shine (see title link)!

Gatorade

I love G2-Low Cal in Grape flavor. With half the calories and all the G, it gives me lasting energy and quenches my thirst. Just 20 calories per serving (as opposed to 50 calories in regular Gatorade). Try some (see title link) today!

See into the future

If you're into astrology, you'll love reading your daily horoscope! I'm a Scorpio, and apparently I'm shopping hard for a new style. Couldn't be further from the truth, but whatever (see title link)!

Oh NO...

Once a month, I write a post about embarrassing moments, because EVERYONE has had them. The humiliation can be a lot to handle, and knowing about someone else's hard time helps (see title link). One girl actually ripped her jeans during a snowball fight and showed her thong (and a whole lot more) to all the guys she was playing with. Can your traumarama top that?

Cheap guy gifts

Want to buy a meaningful gift your boyfriend without busting your bank account? I suggest this cozy beanie from American Eagle Outfitters (see title link). The white hat with the brown strip is classic and looks good on anyone with any style, and is just $20. It shows your guy you care that
