Bold eyes for the end of spring break

Sometimes the key to finding good makeup shades that work for any skin tone is to choose the one which doesn't really blend into any one of them. I love
aqua liner, for example! NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil makes a nice Electric Blue one for just $4.50 (see title link). If you just smudge it along your lower lids, it will make a statement but not be overdone. These pencils just glide on as well, without pulling at that delicate skin or fading if I touch it. I absolutely love NYX products, and blue eyeliner is definitely next on my wish list.

Facial Towelettes

These facial towelettes, created by a dermatologist, are made for washing on the go. If you work out a lot and need something after practice, these can wipe off sweat and dirt until you can get home and take a real shower. DG Skincare Ez4U 4-in-1 Facial Towelettes are great for your face, and are just $22 for 20 to cleanse and repair multiple times a day. Your skin will be positively radiant with all the botanicals. Doubles as a makeup remover to tone in 20 seconds, all the way to your neck. Make sure to refrain from washing immediately afterwards and let your skin dry naturally, though! Cruelty-free, vegan, and sulfate-free.

Maybelline New York's "Tattoo" branding scheme

Interesting marketing strategy - Maybelline New York's latest EyeStudio product is called Master Precise Ink Pen Eyeliner. It really does make your eyes pop, and black liquid liner is foolproof (see title link). MSRP $7.99. It doesn't dry up or skips while drawing the line, with smooth, even strokes. Promises no mess - haven't tried it yet so you guys tell me: What's the word with the excess?
"Master the refined line."

Rimmel London Lip Gloss

Check out Rimmel London's Moisture Renew Lip Gloss, which has SPF 15 protection to caress your lips, reduce dryness by 65%, and not break your budget, which is most important (see title link). Love all of their products!

Oribe's Products Can Speak Volumes

I had never even heard of this brand before, but its products definitely speak for themselves. Oribe Hair Care's Dry Texturizing Spray gives your hair so much body, you can create a great tousled look with the flattest hair. It even has the perfect diameter to use to curl it a bit, with ample bobby pins! Warning: Could be glamorous or disastrous. The spray's polymers absorb oil at roots, and charge $39 to do it (see title link).

TRESemme Conditioner for Color

TRESemme's Color Protection collection is a new group of of shampoos and conditioners from the brand's product line. The Color Revitalize Conditioner promises to protect your vivid color for 40 washes (see title link) to keep it looking healthy. I've never permanently dyed my hair, so I cannot comment. Worth checking out, though? Contains green tea, rosemary, and sunflower for moisture. Promises to be lightweight, although I'm not sure how any conditioner can be lighter than another.

Foundation that doesn't break the bank

A bottle of Rimmel London's Clean Finish Foundation costs only $5 (see title link)! Can you believe it? From a leading brand in the UK at that! The mattifying liquid foundation promises you a 100% poreless look, and contains Vitamin A & E to control that oil. It allegedly lasts all day, but I haven't tried it for a long day yet. Definitely something to check out, though! They have such wonderful products for the face.

Simple hair ideas

Using the Pantene Pro-V Fine Hair Styling Products, you can make simple hairstyles that also look beautiful. When I want a change, for example, I just put a small section of hair aside, wrap the rest in a ponytail, and wrap the strand around the elastic before securing it down with bobby pins. Hairspray works, of course (see title link)!
