Turbans for girls?

I honestly think this is slightly offensive to some faiths for using the word "turban" so loosely, but L. Erickson USA has branded the term for some of their headbands. The Studded Stretch Knot Turban has a great classic feel but is the epitome of luxe hair accessories, at a whopping $98 (see title link). I think it looks great to just put at the top of your head and it adds extra volume, not to mention a new trend in fashion. Made of mostly polyester, with 2% spandex, and 4" dimensions.

On another prom rant...

I'm in love with one-shouldered dresses and still haven't found the perfect one for myself. But if you're looking for prom dresses and want to stay on trend, this Jessica McClintock One-Shoulder Dress is definitely the way to go! Available at Dillard's for $169 (see title link), the gown is made of gold stretch satin and slims your waist with the ruched bodice. The decorative rosette and empire waist are so elegant! Not too crazy about the flared skirt, but that is flattering on some people! So be a goddess this prom!

Fitness Tip

The pros know it best, and they've got some vital advice to share. Tasha Dixon, who trains Victoria Justice, believes in a very valuable training tip: take five minutes when you wake up or are ready to work out and hydrate yourself and stretch. The exercise will feel much easier when you're loose and have had half a glass of water (see title link)!
