Teal accessories - so in

Bright, statement jewelry is huge these days. That's why these Urbanog teal bangles are such an essential. They're $13 each and are total standout accessories. Bracelets and bangles are so in these days!

Chanel LBW (Little Black Wallet)

Check out the Chanel Classic Caviar wallet, as shown in the hands of Dianna Agron when she walked out of the Ed Sullivan Theater last August. Chanel makes excellent accessories (their greatest strength, in my opinion), and their small leather goods are the most accessible in terms of price point.

For the Disney-obsessed

Expensive and childish? Not my cup of tea, but if you're having a whimsical day, try these Minnie Mawi earrings, called Disney Couture Jewelry. The Heart Drop earrings are a cute silver multicolor, and are on sale for $27.95 (see title link). I'm a fan of the oversized crystals, just not the minnie dots on the bottom. But if you're into accessories and can pull off this jewelry, by all means: go for it!

Statement necklace for the win

Check out this gorgeous blue bead necklace from Urbanog. Accessories can seriously make an outfit, and this one is only $10 (see title link). It'll look reinvented with something simple!

Garage - some Canada fashion!

It's always awesome to move beyond your normal stores to look at some abroad. Garage, originating in Montreal, has locations nationwide in the US. They have great clothes at reasonable prices, but I love their jewelry most. Check out the Laugh Necklace in their Accessories section. It comes in a 3-pack for $12.90 (see title link), with a cute sparkle and lobster clasp to fasten. Love it!

Christmas Eve gorge

Clutches make any outfit extra-glamorous. This sequin clutch is available at Maurices and was designed by Project Runway designer Christopher Straub. You can store your essentials (lip gloss, money), and still keep it compact with the Waterfall Hardshell Clutch. You'll look luxurious and oh, so beautiful! Available for $24 (see title link) in the handbags section (accessories ftw!)

Gold Scarf

Fancy scarves are great to wear for holiday parties, but I also prefer them for simply a winter day out - I used this one from Urbanog to take friends to the airport after finals (see title link)! It was only $10, and what an accessory!

Braided Belts

Braided belts are all the rage right now. I choose soft hues, like cognac, to match my brown boots in the fall. Combined with bright prints, like birds, for example, these belts look super-sophisticated. Best of all, you can buy them for relatively no money. Make Me Chic has braided belts that cost just $8 (see title link)!

Quirky Luggage

I never thought I would have any sort of taste when it comes to luggage, but this Vacation Me Luggage from UrbanOg caught my attention. The Cafe in Paris luggage costs $130.20 in this nice, Dark Brown color reminiscent of Louis Vuitton (see title link). It's stylish because it's unique. So vintage, although I don't like the huge brand logo. The leatherette strips, corner patches, brass studs and buckles add to the old-world feel.
Thank god they've incorporated modernity, like the trolley feature with wheels and foot stands!

Sports storage in style

Check out the Dizzy Barrel Bag from Puma! The Women's Accessories are all stylish, but this is a great tote that doubles as a bag. Comes in 4 colors, but the Dark Shadow Silver Viridian Green Graphic is by far the funkiest version. Super flirty to take to the gym or for a day out. Significant room inside with lots of pockets for practical storage, but feminine at the same time. 100% nylon, two-way zipper, and nicely-designed handles. Retails for $50 (see title link).

Safest way to straighten hair

We all know using flat irons is bad for your hair. But if you're going to do it anyway, use one that's powerful enough to do it in a single pass! T3 SinglePass Compact Flat Iron costs $79 and is available at Bloomingdale's (see title link). It seals the cuticle and protects hair from additional damage and tame flyaways. The heat resistant cap is included. Their beauty department is awesome, and the Tools & Accessories section is incredibly varied!

Jessica Simpson's bling

I didn't realize the Jessica Simpson Collection carried such high-end jewelry, but this Geometric Turquoise Bracelet is a cool part of their Jewelry & Accessories line. Like a charm bracelet, it has gemstones and turquoise stones to give it a unique feel, and the copper worn metal adds a simple touch. Problem is, it costs $150 (see title link).

Looking for fashion jewelry? Try this necklace from Make Me Chic, a great accessory to any outfit. The Dangling Jewel Heart Necklace is Pink and looks great with a nice bun or something flirty. Costs $13 (see title link) and closes with a lobster clasp.

DIY

I, personally, do not have the patience nor the talent to make my own clothes cooler. But for those who do, a budget-friendly way to do it is with the Seventeen Fashion Accessory Kit, which costs only $13 (see title link) on Amazon. Includes crafting tools like gold and rhinestone chains, pink cording, ribbon ties, charms, clasps, and stickers.
