Prep for Halloween, beginning with your makeup!

October is a great month to go a little bit more wacky with your makeup. If you're going for a pretty look on Halloween, try Stila Eye Shadow Trio in Going Green. I can't believe anyone seriously invented this. You can buy eyeshadow appliques from ColorOn Professional that are like tattoos (temporary, of course!). The Animal Instincts Eye Shadow Kit is a personal favorite (HA) and is available for $20 (see title link). Includes zebra, camouflage, leopard, snake, and tortoise. How outrageous!

L'Oreal Paris Studio Secrets

Freida Pinto looks absolutely gorgeous in L'Oreal Paris One Sweep Eye Shadow from their Studio Secrets collection. Eye makeup is great, but eyeshadow is especially important. What an innovative invention. I know I'm always trying to imitage magazine models to get a dramatic look for my eyes by layering shadows. Now L'Oreal Paris has made it easier by inventing the One Sweep Eye Shadow from its Studio Secrets collection (see title link). My personal favorite shade is the Playful for All Eyes (829) color combo, but all of them are designed to look fabulous with the unique applicator and great palettes. Look stunning for just $9.95.

Milani

Want smoky blue eyes without the high budget? For just $6, try Milani Runway Eyes Eye Shadow. The Blue Lagoon shade (see top left) gives you that perfect out-on-the-town, fierce look, especially if you smudge it into your creases. Midnight-blue shadow is always a hit (see title link)!
