Plain White Tee (nope, not the band)

You can't go wrong with a basic white shirt which has a good fit and nice fabric. This $29 shirt from Urban Hearts is available at Macy's and can provide a neutral complement to any wild prints or cuts you may wear, such as super-wide bellbottoms (see title link). Look flawless in the easiest way and you'll feel confident and happy--not to mention comfortable and able to breathe.

Tommy Girl at Macy's

While I'm not usually into plaid or collared button-down shirts on girls, I have come to realize that what may not look good on me can work well on many other people. So I decided to branch out and share this shirt I spotted at Macy's, created by Tommy Girl. The plaid shirt is a great top, called the Long Sleeve Point Collar Buttoned Plaid Oxford Shirt, and is on sale now for $39.99 (see title link). Great for the preppiest of people, it's machine washable and has cuffed long sleeves. There's two front flapped pockets at the bust as well, and a rounded hem.

Basic Denim!

A denim shirt can do wonders for your outfit! Check this Levi's one out, from the brand that knows denim best. Costs $60 but can be worn any way (see title link)!

Classy for Spring

This Dickies Girl Oxford Long Sleeve Buttoned Down Shirt looks great in a baby blue color when worn underneath cute, patterned separates. It costs just $16 and comes with a little left pocket.

Men's Style

Although you don't want your man dressing better than you, it is refreshing to see a classy guy. Take some inspiration and rock some men's clothing yourself! It can look super-sexy when you pair it with something simple and form-fitting, like leggings and jewelry.
I saw this Gucci slim shirt on Taylor Lautner at the screening of Eclipse at the Los Angeles Film Festival (see title link). It costs $380 and has that great grey cotton and long sleeves with barrel cuffs.

Prepster

I found a great DKNY Jeans shirt for $49 (see title link). It's iconic of the boy/girl preppy look!

Rebecca Beeson

This shirt from Rebecca Beeson is gorgeous (see title link). The San Francisco-based designer has stores carrying her wares nationwide, and this one is pretty, especially for girls with a curvy butt, since this will be nice and form-fitting for your upper half!

Short and Simple

For a cool, effortless look this spring, try the American Rag Strapless Denim Tube Shirt Dress, costing just $49 at Macy's (see title link). They advertise sweet, but that's not exactly what I would call it. Still, it could go for a nautical look that's pretty hot. The straight neckline is great, as are the two chest buttoned flat pockets and smocked waistband. It closes by side zipper so it's pretty discreet. Beware of the fact that it's unlined, though!

Basic Black

I found a cute shirt from Lulu's that is only available online (see title link). You can use this $19 black tee for just about any occasion, from school to a party to wherever else life takes you. Basic black is perfect!
