The Hunger Games boots!

For all of you Hunger Games fans, I found the boots Katniss wears in the movie! The Frye Melissa Tall Lace boots are one of the most durable pairs of women's boots I've found yet. They're dramatic, and are securable with a zipper on the side (no real lacing necessary!). Made of leather with a rubber outsole, with a 3/4" heel and 15" shaft circumference and 15.5" total shaft height. Retail for $398 (see title link).

Betsey Johnson actually makes edgy stuff, too?

Never in a million years would I be able to pull these off. But for those of you who can and do often, here's a pick for you! I couldn't believe these shoes were from Betsey Johnson, but lo! and behold, they are. The Caylin Shiny Lace Up Boots come in this great Black color and cost a cool $190 (see title link). Maybe it's because they're made of leather and have a 5.75" heel (with 1.75" platform, so you'll only feel 4 inches). You can only clean them with a damp cloth, but I honestly think they'll look edgier once they've been dirtied up a bit. Buy at your own risk!

Hot Patent Boots!

I wish I could pull these off. Seriously! They're boots from Wanted and they look so hot! The MySpace shoe in Black Patent is lace-up, ankle-length, and costs $70 (see title link). The heel is chunky for good support, and there's a side zipper to also tighten you in. 3.75" heel with 1/2" platform. Lace up ankle booties, you rock!

Fuschia Booties

Probably not the classiest shoes to wear for Thanksgiving dinner, but hey, I looked great! These heels from Make Me Chic cost just $27 and are so bold and hot! They're called the Glaze Camilla1 Velvet Ankle Boots in Fuchsia. SO CUTE (see title link).

Wishlist Pick: Stuart Weitzman Boots

I initially saw Emma Roberts wearing these Stuart Weitzman boots in February while shopping at Chanel in Beverly Hills. Emma paired hers with black jeans for this matching combo that made her legs look even slimmer, but these boots can be pulled off with any streamlined outfit. The 5050 boots are $595, and are a highlight of the designer's "Tall Boots" section (see title link). You can fold over the top if you'd like, but the unfolded fits over your knee. I love its practicality and modernity, a feat difficult to accomplish. It's pull-on, though, which limits it to a certain audience.

Make Me Chic with Leopard Print!

These Booties from Make Me Chic are the coolest in their Boots section under "Ankle" variety! Their animal prints are awesome and the Disko Haircalf Leopard Wedge Ankle Booties are no exception (see title link). With the platform beginning so high, they actually look comfy! Cost $32.

Hot boots

Check out these beautiful boots from Wanted. They cost $49.99 and are the Throttle boot in the Tan shade (see title link). The Pull-On motorcycle inspired western bootie with studded harness are so edgy! Love them.

Rain Boots!

I found a pair of Laila Rowe Rainboots that are absolutely gorgeous for those late September days. The specific model of these boots is called the Shiny Ombre, and it features a gradient from fire-engine red at the bottom to sunny yellow at the top near the calf. They're just $26.25 (see title link) and will turn heads on the sidewalk. Check them out (see title link)!

Carlos by Carlos Santana

Every girl needs a cute pair of boots. These are a costly $151 and are Carlos by Carlos Santana shoes in the Carino variety. They have a leather upper, and the pleating and ruching give an extra contemporary kick. With a 6-inch shaft, smooth lining that's soft for your feet, and a lightly-cushioned insole. There's a dress style midsole and flat traction outsole, and the heel is 2.75". A bit expensive, but not to be overlooked (see title link).
