Tommy Hilfiger shoes for the commoners!

Did you know Tommy Hilfiger recently released a line of shoes at Macy's that features more affordable products for us fashionistas on a budget? Not too many pieces, but I'm especially in love with their espadrilles - check out the Venice Wedges pictured! They're currently $89 but on sale for 15% off for Mother's Day. The best part: wedges never go out of style, give some air to your feet in this springtime weather, and have elastic straps for good fit. 4" high, too. Love the green/blue combo.

Jessica Simpson sure makes some bangin' shoes

I'm a sucker for heels (even if I can't walk in half the ones I try on!) And no, these aren't an exception - these shoes are not necessarily practical, comfortable, or meant for high heel novices. But they're gorgeous and hot in an understated sort of way for their dramatic height, and they're from the Jessica Simpson Collection for shoes. Retail for $98!

Oxfords - Great to dance in!

These Wanted Oxfords are great for walking, dancing, or any other strenuous activity. The Jade Black Patent shoes are Lace Up and cost $50 (see title link). They have a wing-tip detail heel with 1.5" of height and medium width. Pair them with tights and a dress, jeans, or anything else!

Betsey Johnson actually makes edgy stuff, too?

Never in a million years would I be able to pull these off. But for those of you who can and do often, here's a pick for you! I couldn't believe these shoes were from Betsey Johnson, but lo! and behold, they are. The Caylin Shiny Lace Up Boots come in this great Black color and cost a cool $190 (see title link). Maybe it's because they're made of leather and have a 5.75" heel (with 1.75" platform, so you'll only feel 4 inches). You can only clean them with a damp cloth, but I honestly think they'll look edgier once they've been dirtied up a bit. Buy at your own risk!

Soda Shoes

Not into hardcore combat boots, but this Soda Shoes Dome style has been worn all over my campus, especially during reading period for finals! They're lace-up, once again, and I'm a fan of the Skin color since it's a little different. I like the double buckles at the back to give an extra edge, and the front side zipper is unique as well (see title link)!

Adidas goes wild

Check out these sneakers from Jeremy Scott x Adidas Originals (see title link)! I saw Heather Morris of Glee wearing them in a magazine and thought they were adorable. The fuzzy pandas combined with the black-and-white classic Adidas Originals by Originals is a great addition to the world of women's shoes.

Other Bloggers' Picks

Okay, I rarely have anything bad to say about the products I post (in fact, I try to only post good products, because no one wants to read about things that are bad anyway), but when I saw these shoes featured by a more prominent fashion blogger named Mandy Fierens, I had to speak out. Mandy is a stylist for Modcloth, a brand I generally have a lot of respect for because of their unique but tasteful styles. After looking through her outfits, I have a lot of respect for Mandy as well. She's a curvy girl and looks great in everything she wears! But these shoes were an exception. The City Summer Night Heel from ModCloth designer Jeffrey Campbell costs a whopping $125 (see title link), and are probably one of the most atrocious pairs of shoes I have ever seen. To call them heels is to overestimate their classiness. To call them Mod Retro Vintage Heels is just insulting. They are made of blue velvet, and have extra sparkles to stand out. Oh, and that hideous bow? It's clip-on, thankfully, so you can take it off (or hide it on the strap). They promise to stop traffic - oh, you'll stop it all right, but for all the wrong reasons.

Soda shoes

Love these shoes from Soda! Called the "Object" and are comfortable canvas slip-ons. Available in tons of colors but look great in the peach one (see title link).

Coming Soon!

Sperry Top Sider shoes are supremely comfortable. I found a pair of Women's Montauk Slip-On shoes in the Tan Woven variety I feel in love with, but they're not even available until the first week of April! They cost a steep $125, so chances are I won't be getting them (see title link). But check them out!

Report Signature

These Report Signature heels are a $225 splurge (see title link). The shoes, called the Remsen2 Pumps, are available at Fred Segal and have that irresistible laceup from the heel to the ankle. The covered platform only adds to the charm! Suede upper, 5" covered heel, and man-made sole.

Amber Riley's favorite shoes

Amber P. Riley of Glee fame rocks these BCBG Max Azria shoes (see title link). This gorgeous Skyla Satin pump is $210 and is all glam. The hidden platform and satin make it incredibly versatile, and the pointed toe isn't too dramatic. There's a hidden front platform as well, along with an angular heel of 4.5". Every girl needs a basic set of black heels!

Bakers

I'm really into Leather these days, and the Bakers Hatchh shoe is a black basic. The Casual Oxford shoes are great since they're flat and comfy, and even have some polished wing tip detailing. The lace-up closure and almond toe are convenient for fitting many feet. They cost just $49.95 (see title link).

You can never have enough...

Shoes, of course! I found a hot pair from AMI Clubwear for just $19 (see title link). For that deal, you can wear them just a few times and still get great use out of your investment!

Gotta love the UK

Topshop is a chain of upscale London stores based internationally in New York City. I found a pair of shoes there for $135 that are just to die for. Fuschia open-toed heels with 5 adjustable buckles going up the foot. Perfect for a Friday night out (see title link)!
