Classic Chucks

Thanksgiving break is all about the autumn, the holiday season, and chillin' with your friends. I love being casual and comfy when I'm having a fun dinner with old pals, and Chuck Taylor All Stars from Converse are the perfect example. The chocolate shade is different but still matches with everything, goes with the autumn palette, and is a great women's shoe. Costs $50 and is such a classic canvas sneaker (see title link), especially in that tans & browns realm!

New twist to the classic

Converse Chuck Taylor has been around for decades, but they are reinventing themselves with the new All Star Double Tongue Plaid Ox Sneaker (see title link), which costs $49.99 at Famous Footwear. The Beluga/Chuck Pink shoe is perfect for preppy girls or grunge styles. The canvas upper features plaid, along with the usual rubber toe cap, and vulcanized midsole/outsole.

Take a Journey with Converse

I was at Journeys the other day to escape studying for exams, and I came across this Chuck Taylor All Star Print Sneaker. It's the Converse Lo Emo Dog Athletic Shoe in White and is just $49.99 (see title link), although I remember a time not too long ago when Converses were just $30. Amazing how these shoes are still cool after all these years. They've updated without changing and still have a great fan following. The canvas upper is classic.

Converse

It's really impossible to overestimate the versatility of a good pair of Converse sneakers. The Chuck Taylor All Star Light is just perfect for anything. Plus, for just $42, how can you possibly go wrong (see title link)?

Converse

Who doesn't need a basic pair of Chuck Taylor All Star Converse Canvas Oxfords (Low, of course!)? One of my teachers in high school told me to save everything because it will be in style 20 years later. She was right; those 80s teens were wearing Chucks, too! For just $45, you can have two of your very own. So what are you waiting for (see title link)?

Oh, and colors are great, but you should have a black pair. I mean, it goes with absolutely ANYTHING.
