Couture Headbands?

Thick headbands are all the rage right now, but I actually prefer relatively thin ones - they give you a beautiful, delicate look. A quarter-inch might be too small, but try half an inch for width. The Dalis from Jennifer Ouellette has two curving candy stripe spines and side loops on the skinny band. It costs $130, but is followed by celebs (see title link).

Black Jeans for Curvy Bodies

Yes, I realize the jeans shown here aren't black. But these It (iT? !iT) Ultra Skinny Jeans really do fit well and look great in black. They make any body look super shapely, and definitely testifies to the fact that black is slimming. I've found these for $68, but they're selling for $78 online (see title link). They're very L.A.-inspired.

LBD

Everyone needs a little black dress. For curvy figures, a fitted zip-front is the way to go, to make you look cute and decide how low your V-line will go. Check out this dress I found at Macy's from DKNY Jeans Juniors (see title link). $69.

Hips Don't Lie?

If there's one person to admire in Hollywood because of her toned body, it's Shakira. That woman has natural beauty and her curves aren't made by a computer (at least in some pictures, where she STILL looks fabulous!). But to achieve that fitness level, you need to work out.
