Denim
There are tons of denim tips in Seventeen magazine's online style blog as part of their "Denim Rocks" story in this month's issue. Check it out for 30 days of denim advice (see title link)!

Some Icing on the...Hair?
Icing by Claire's is a great store to shop for hair accessories and the like. I found a beautiful Thin Row Rhinestone Clip there for just $5. It's gorgeous and is bright silver with tiny white stones that's good for a day out or even prom. Check out the store's website (see title link).

Hayden Panettiere
Hayden Panettiere may just seem like your ordinary celebrity blonde. But inside, she's wise and has a good heart. When asked in a recent Seventeen magazine interview (see title link) about worrying about fitting in, she truthfully responds that she's becoming more and more comfortable with herself, and that she learns something about herself from each experience, positive or negative. Her other wise quip is about her friends; each one does not have to be your best friend, nor do they have to be perfect for everything. It's okay to have friends for different purposes. Instead of giving a diplomatic, plastic answer, she embodies the qualities of the true role model she is: candor and honesty.

Free stuff!?
SwapTree is a brilliant idea that allows you to trade in your own books, music, DVDs, or video games for new ones. Basically, other users post their own unwanted stuff on the website, and then you can do a trade! Everyone gets new items in good condition, all for no cost. Plus, you can get rid of all those books you read for school that you'll never want to read again and feel like burning, anyway (don't worry, I'm not pulling a Fahrenheit 451 here...ahh, book jokes!). So check this site out and start shopping (see title link)!

Love more and stress less!
I'm saying this through complete personal experience: if you really like a guy and he isn't approaching you, never think "if he wanted to talk to to me, he'd come talk to me." I've gone through that debate a million times in my head, and every time I feel like a wimp or failure. You can't get inside his head and read his mind, and there are thousands of reasons for his lack of forwardness, all of which have absolutely nothing to do with you. So be bold! Make the first step and show him just how wonderful you truly are (see title link).

Roxy Athletix

Roxy Athletix How to Roxy 101 Layer Tank is the perfect item to add to your workout wardrobe. It has a racerback and is transparent, so you have to wear something underneath like a sports bra. However, the lightness and comfort it provides is unmatched by others I've tried (I like this in the yellow variety most, but it isn't available online). This tank costs $38, which isn't exactly cheap, so buy at your own risk. It has a wicking element as well, whatever that means. Make sure to check it out (see title link)!

It's Video Time!
I work at an online video marketing company, so I'm going to be cutting-edge and talk about a YouTube channel in today's blog post. Leesha, 20, does lots of makeup tutorials through YouTube videos. She already has over 200! The directions are easy since you see them done, and it's a great way to get introduced to the simplicity of online video. Heck, if I had a webcam on my laptop, I would make video blog posts! Check her out (see title link) and make them eyes pop!

Give That 5-Stars!

Five Star 6-Pocket Expanding File is a great resource for organizing your important papers. There's a floral flap design that I particularly love, with a blue vertical-striped skin. For just $5.39, you have a perfect back-to-school tool (see title link).

Apple Bottom Jeans (Jeans!), Boots with the Fur (with the Fur!)...
Apple Bottoms is my favorite brand to wear when I want clothes that are form-fitting without being too tight and give me some curves without looking trashy. Every time I take a trip to Macy's, I have to check them out (see title link).

Torrid!
Torrid is an excellent store for curvier girls who want more options. Torrid is an amazing source of plus-size clothing in all styles, colors, and shapes (see title link)! Their denim is the best part, in my opinion.

Slate Blue with Envy?

The one thing that all my friends have and I wish I had? The LG EnV3 from Verizon Wireless. It has a great compact QWERTY keyboard, 2.6" internal screen for messaging speed and convenience, a 3.0 megapixel camera and camcorder, Bluetooth capability, a music player, a Favorites key for quick connecting to your 10 favorite contacts, one-touch speakerphone, speaker-independent voice commands, and perfect, wide key placement for easy typing. Right now it's only $79.99 (see title link) at the Verizon Wireless online store, although I saw it for $49.99 at Best Buy today.
Too bad I've got AT&T...

Fancy Love?

The only splash Jessica Simpson is making the publicity world these days is regarding her love life. But rest assured, her fragrance speaks (or is it smells?) for itself. Fancy Love Eau de Parfum is a wonderful scent. Mostly floral, it contains Notes of Peach and Bergamot to give it that subtly beautiful aura. The White 3.4 oz. bottle is $59, but the investment is well worth it (see title link).

DKNY
I just found a hot pair of jeans from DKNY Jeans Juniors. They're high-rise, unlike most jeans that girls wear (including myself), but I figured I'd experiment a little. These jeans are Style #KCMUA422 (see title link), and they're a whopping $98 at Nordstrom.

Sleek & Shine

Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Fortifying Shampoo is a great product to use for hair that gets frizzy at the smallest sign of humidity. My hair is coarse and rebellious, and this shampoo stops the dryness and makes it truly manageable. It contains Nutritive Fruit Micro-Oils, which are made from avocado and apricot, along with Vitamins B3 and B6. It nourishes and cleans my scalp, giving it a wonderful feel. The moisture makes it soft, too, so my hair feels light. Flyaways, begone! Buy it online for just $3.99 (see title link).

Dollhouse
dollhouse is a great line for teen girls who want some trendiness, edge, and femininity. It manufactures jeanswear, footwear, outerwear, intimates, and sleepwear! With all that variety and some great prices to boot, how can you resist (see title link)? After all, its tagline is "you are beautiful." Simple. Sweet.

Bleach is the solution to everything?

Sally Hansen Creme Hair Bleach for Face is a great alternative to painful waxing when you have that girl-stache or unibrow issue. It lightens the darkest of your unwanted hair so it looks invisible. The stuff is smooth and guaranteed not to drip, and it mixes quickly and simply. The aloe vera makes it easy on your skin, and its consistency never wanes! Plus, the almond scent is an extra bonus. It's both salon and dermatologist-tested. Online, you can buy it for just $5.49 (see title link).

LG Xenon
Check out the LG Xenon. It's the coolest phone out there, with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, customizable touch screen interface, and fast connection. There's also full text, picture, video, and IM support including AOL, Windows Live, and Yahoo! Messengers. When using the music controls, the phone controls are out of sight until you need them again. You can send both live and recorded video WHILE you're on the phone with someone! On the Video & Web aspect, there's CV for news, sports, weather, and entertainment. There's a Media Mall, as well as the standard calendar, alarm clock, call waiting, caller ID, and personal organizer. Includes email, 3G from AT&T, and Bluetooth. Sounds great to me (see title link)!
