Hilarious Horoscopes

People actually BELIEVE this stuff (see title link). Don't get me wrong, I'm all for believing in certain spiritual rituals, but these love horoscopes by Sally Brompton are just over-the-top...

Embarassing!

Everyone has social traumas, but kissing ones (see title link) are the funniest. Some of these horrors are straight out of Superbad! In real life!

Dating Abuse

Did you know one in four teenage girls reported being in an abusive relationship? It's important to admit the problem if you or a friend have it, and to understand how to deal and get help about it (see title link). Because Love Hurts.

Mayonnaise!?

I have horribly frizzy hair and my curls are impossibly different textures. Some are thick and well-defined, while are others are just stand-alone and crazy. I've been trying Africa's Best Organics Hair Mayonnaise since it's filled with natural ingredients like herbs, olive oil, vitamins, and egg protein. It really deep-conditions my hair and keeps my dry scalp fairly well-moisturized (although not fully). According to the Walgreens website where I got it, it will help "rejuvenate and renew weak fragile hair, leaving the hair healthier looking with greater body, shine, and elasticity" if used over a long term. The best part? It's budget-friendly and only costs $4 for an 18 oz. jar. At Walgreens, anyway (see title link).

Basic Hoodie

Great color and totally basic, so you can pair it with anything. It's from American Apparel and costs a standard $39 (see title link). The weird part is that it only comes in one size, yet fits really well. It has a hood and is unisex. Mine is pretty beat up from so many uses so I've made it cropped because of all the holes at the bottom and at the sleeves. My sleeves are half-sleeves now and all stretched out but you can still spend a comfortable weekend afternoon in this piece of clothing.

Wintr'y Makeup

Tarte A Perfect Whirled is a multipurpose product. It's created to be a blush for the tops of your cheeks but perfectly safe to use on your lips. I did just that, and got that great frosty look because of the icy shade. The cream feels really light on your face. It's rather expensive at $28 but then again, Sephora's products are usually slightly overpriced. But definitely all good-quality. This is limited-edition, so you better buy yours quick. According to its website (see title link), it only uses natural colorants and fragrances and includes the t5 fruit color complex, which is filled with goji, acai, maracuja, acerola, and pomegranate. These are all rich with antioxidants and vitamins, so apparently your skin is getting refined AND looking pretty at the same time.
Worth trying?

P-I-Z-Z-A

Who wants to go out for pizza on a date? Lots of people, that's who, thinking that it's the perfect date. But once the pie's eaten, what to do (see title link)?

Socks!

Hands down the most comfortable and most warm socks I've ever worn. They're from American Apparel and are also the most expensive socks I've ever seen, at a whopping $17. But the solid darker royal blue shade is just beautiful, and the knit material keeps me snug and cozy (see title link). They're best when rolled down a bit to mid-calf (don't wear them thigh-high if you want to stay warm).

Obey

This is an incredibly unique tank from Obey called the Dancing in the Streets Tank Top. It's $30 (the tank is $28 but with shipping it'll cost more) and has a racer back. Comfortable, too, since it's half cotton, a fourth polyester, and a fourth rayon. It's from the Martha Cooper Limited Series and SO expressive. Yeah, so what if it's gray (see title link)? It features a black-and-white photograph of two girls playing hand games excitedly (of two different races, I might add). They're standing in front of a graffiti-covered wall. Really shows the wonderful innocence of childhood.

Bling

This is a giant black-and-gold oversized Samantha Wills Trinket Ring. The Australian designer sells upscale jewelry that you can wear at a casual occasion. So make no mistake: the COST is nowhere near trinket-size; it's $69.50. It's real gold and filagree-encrusted, whatever that means! It has black crystals, too, and even comes up with a vintage band that's adjustable and decorated (see title link).
