Some very creatively packaged hand lotion

I've never heard of this brand before, but the container shelf itself made me take another look. EOS, or Evolution of Smooth, is a new line of lotions, lip balms, and shaving creams. The container shown is for their Everyday Hand Lotion in Berry Blossom, which promises to soothe your hands. It's 97% natural (are other lotions less natural?), dermatologist-tested, and paraben-free. Although it's sold in drugstores, the quick absorption makes it feel like it's from Sephora. Never sticky and so compact! Contains conditioning oils, aloe, shea butter, and florals. Retails for $3.99 (see title link).

Emma Roberts' Casual Style

Check out Emma Roberts' laid-back slip-on espadrilles from this photo taken in August in the Hamptons, at the Super Saturday charity shopping event. Don't get the wrong impression - the shoes are Chanel, but she looks so chill and comfortable, and, most importantly, sensible. Even if you're going with a date (like Chord Overstreet!) to a carnival, you might as well stay comfortable! You'll ooze confidence (see title link).

Vera Bradley for Travel

Travel in style during the holidays with some color schemes that light up the season. I always stop by the Vera Bradley store after Christmas to shop their sales. Their Mocha Rouge color scheme is so bright and happy, and the large duffel is great for a road trip, with long handles, roominess, and perfect size for even a carry-on for a flight, if necessary. Funky Earrings

I first saw these earrings on Abigail Breslin. Now, I don't necessarily look to her as a fashion inspiration or anything, but if a pretty and girly girl like her can pull these off, anyone can! The gold spike top earring from Smith by Zoe Chicco, cost $48 (see title link) and are so contemporary! Jewelry like this is made with an antique brass chain, and is 3.5" long.

CC Skye Leather Bracelets

On Christmas Day, I received a very interesting item that seems so anti-Christmas! It's this stud bracelet from CC Skye (the brown version), called their Leather Bullet Bracelet and available for $125 (see title link). It's so edgy and unlike me, but yet looks gorgeous. CC Skye is one of my favorite fashion jewelry designers.

Christmas Eve gorge

Clutches make any outfit extra-glamorous. This sequin clutch is available at Maurices and was designed by Project Runway designer Christopher Straub. You can store your essentials (lip gloss, money), and still keep it compact with the Waterfall Hardshell Clutch. You'll look luxurious and oh, so beautiful! American Rag Sweaters

Ugly sweater party coming up for the holidays? Might as well be a little different if you're going to stand out anyway! It's $69 at Macy's and is hooded, comes with pom poms, and that sophisticated, comfy poncho cut.

Smythe Military Coat

Blake Lively is a true fashion star. She looks amazing in knit hats, and I love her Smythe military coat here leaving the Gossip Girl set on November 29, 2010 (available online for $238.50). There's a double-breasted button closure, flanged shoulders, welt pockets, and imported Italian fabric (see title link). Perfect for your Christmas list!

Gold Scarf

Fancy scarves are great to wear for holiday parties, but I also prefer them for simply a winter day out - I used this one from Urbanog to take friends to the airport after finals (see title link)! It was only $10, and what an accessory!

Forever 21+

Forever 21 has an entire line of plus sizes! I personally am not a plus-size, but I love that it has everything, including some cute body-con dresses for the club! Because if you've got curves, you might as well flaunt them with the wildest print possible! The leopard print one I found costs just $25 (see title link).

This is a cool contest to enter. Playtex Sport wants tips from you to remain unstoppable while on the go. Definitely a cool branding idea, and different from the standard print ads.

Shakira's fragrance

Check out Shakira's new S by Shakira Eau Florale scent! The fragrance is delicate and so happy-smelling! It's youthful, optimistic, and has that vitality of jasmine and bergamot, along with wild fruits, musk, and vanilla. Buy at drugstores nationwide (see title link).

Boots as slippers

I've seen girls wear those undurable Ugg-replica slipper boots around the library, but I didn't realize some stores market them for indoor use. Much more practical and warm - JCPenney has some great ones in their pajamas & slippers section (see title link). I found some plain ones for just $21.99.

JCPenney's Jacket Collection

JCPenney is great for shopping for winter outerwear. I buy boots there every year, and the jacket and coat collection in Juniors are well-priced. Some are just $60 (see title link)!

Soda Shoes

Not into hardcore combat boots, but this Soda Shoes Dome style has been worn all over my campus, especially during reading period for finals! They're lace-up, once again, and I'm a fan of the Skin color since it's a little different. I like the double buckles at the back to give an extra edge, and the front side zipper is unique as well (see title link)!

KarTRASHian Kolors

No longer a Kardashians fan since Kim's fake wedding, but I'm into the colors in their new nail collection with Nicole by OPI called Kardashian Kolors. The Khloe Had a Little Lam Lam is gorgeous, and the nail lacquers are allover beautiful. Dries fast, too, and feels salon-quality, although that could just be the Kardashian brand. No DBP, toluene, or formaldehyde. Costs $7 (see title link).

Get Baby-soft lips

Check out Maybelline Baby Lips SPF 20 Lip Moisturizing Balm (see title link)! They come in tinted shades as well, so you look cute and are helping your lips stay healthy! It's 8-hour hydration to keep you going, and they claim it to be "clinical care", which may be an exaggeration. Love the Peach Kiss shade the most, because it looks nude and protects my lips. Make sure to put it on smoothly, all along the bottom of your lip, for best protection.

Hot Patent Boots!

I wish I could pull these off. Seriously! They're boots from Wanted and they look so hot! The MySpace shoe in Black Patent is lace-up, ankle-length, and costs $70 (see title link). The heel is chunky for good support, and there's a side zipper to also tighten you in. 3.75" heel with 1/2" platform. Lace up ankle booties, you rock!

[Oil of] Olay

I found these free samples of Olay Cleansing Shine Control Lathering Cleanser last week in my pile of creams and was excited to try them out. I don't use facial cleansing products often (natural is the best way! I use gram flour, a home remedy), but it definitely helped my face feel refreshed. Sure, it was clean, but it was just honestly all-around good to make you feel naturally good, if that's not an oxymoron. Just a little makeup was all I needed. Previously called the Deep Purifying Mud Cleanser, it detoxifies your face but still has that lathering feel. Just $10 (see title link).

Lancome's Midnight Treasure

Lancome Paris' Tresor Midnight Rose Eau de Parfum Spray (see title link) is definitely on my wishlist this season. I just wore it to a sendoff party but felt so confident and great wearing it! I've never used a Lancome fragrance before, but the quality definitely lives up to its reputation. And who wouldn't want something Emma Watson stands for? She's so charming and desirable to all. The fragrance includes notes of raspberry, rose, and musk. The motto: "Catch my heart if you can!"

Sally Hansen's wax can solve all your hair removal problems

I'm often wary of Sally Hansen's products, especially her depilatories when they first released. But wax is often fool-proof of false promises, right? I mean, the painful way does do the trick. So if you're up for waxing and have to do your brows, upper lip, or even bikini area, try Sally Hansen Hair Remover Wax Strip Kit for Face, which is one of her most famous hair removal products (see title link). They're pre-cut strips that provide results that last up to 8 weeks. They're easy to use, too - you just warm the strip in your hands to make it ready to use, separate the double-sided strips, and press on (pulling off later, obviously). Pretty Little Liars

What's the big deal about this show Pretty Little Liars? When I saw the promos for it, I thought it looked melodramatic and cheesy, something meant for tweens. Little did I know that many of my college friends watch it! Still haven't seen it myself, but hey, their fashion is rockin (see title link). If anyone else has time, it airs Mondays at 8 beginning January 2 on ABC Family!

Maybe she's born with it...

I usually focus on specific products from specific brands, but I realized I've done so many posts on this brand (for several different products) that I had to call myself out on it. Maybelline New York. I love them for their new ideas, innovative tools, and affordable prices. I always feel more confident and beautiful when I'm wearing makeup created by Maybelline, and I'm not stressed out about how much I spent on it. That's powerful (see title link).

Mariah Carey has three fragrances as part of her Lollipop Bling collection, but the colors of "Ribbon" touch me the most. The Eau de Parfum spray costs $35 (see title link), and has a floral, fruity scent that smells like Blue Raspberry. Also includes honeydew, blue lotus, dew, musks, white woods, and sugar crystals. Dr. Martens for the holidays

Not exactly my style, but these boots are totally badass but manage to find a girly factor hidden inside somewhere. The Womens Dr. Martens Triumph boot at Journeys has a cute floral interior in the Brown version (see title link). With a leather upper and 12-eye ribbon lace up closure, it's perfect to wear once you're too old for Santa. Steep price at $149.99, but put it on the wish list!

Nike for Women

On one hand, I hate endorsing Nike products here because of their inhumane practices in the manufacturing process. But in terms of practicality, their athletic clothing for women is top-notch. The Nike Pro Hyperwarm Crew Training Top is excellent for this time of year, with soft, dri-fit spandex to keep your sweat off and fitting snugly, so you have a full range of motion and retained heat. Love the long sleeves! Purple is my favorite color so I chose the Bold Berry/White combo, but there are several to choose from for $50 each (see title link). No chafing!

Luxe Perfume

Want to feel like a celebrity but don't have the same cash inflow to make it happen? Hate knockoffs and actually want to own something made by a high-fashion designer? Check out your fragrance section at a local Sephora. I love the fragrance created by Fendi. Their women's fragrance, called Fan di Fendi Eau de Parfum costs anywhere from $56-$92 depending on size (see title link) and smells like the ultimate fantasy. It's got hints of leather, warm jasmine, and general insistence, elegance, and allure. I am addicted already, and it's completely irresistible. Almost haunting, really.

Braided Belts

Braided belts are all the rage right now. I choose soft hues, like cognac, to match my brown boots in the fall. Combined with bright prints, like birds, for example, these belts look super-sophisticated. Best of all, you can buy them for relatively no money. Classic Chucks

Thanksgiving break is all about the autumn, the holiday season, and chillin' with your friends. I love being casual and comfy when I'm having a fun dinner with old pals, and Chuck Taylor All Stars from Converse are the perfect example. The chocolate shade is different but still matches with everything, goes with the autumn palette, and is a great women's shoe. Probably not the classiest shoes to wear for Thanksgiving dinner, but hey, I looked great! These heels from Make Me Chic cost just $27 and are so bold and hot! They're called the Glaze Camilla1 Velvet Ankle Boots in Fuchsia. SO CUTE (see title link).

Adidas goes wild

Check out these sneakers from Jeremy Scott x Adidas Originals (see title link)! I saw Heather Morris of Glee wearing them in a magazine and thought they were adorable. The fuzzy pandas combined with the black-and-white classic Adidas Originals by Originals is a great addition to the world of women's shoes.

Quirky Luggage

I never thought I would have any sort of taste when it comes to luggage, but this Vacation Me Luggage from UrbanOg caught my attention. The Cafe in Paris luggage costs $130.20 in this nice, Dark Brown color reminiscent of Louis Vuitton (see title link). It's stylish because it's unique. So vintage, although I don't like the huge brand logo. The leatherette strips, corner patches, brass studs and buckles add to the old-world feel.

Thank god they've incorporated modernity, like the trolley feature with wheels and foot stands!

Blue Bird tank

This may be a pointless post, because I could not for the life of me find a place to purchase this tank. But the Blue Bird Sheer Owl Print top is worth mentioning! I saw it on Spencer during an episode of Pretty Little Liars and went searching for it. If you can find the Blue Bird website, please let me know (see title link)!

Drake's casual style

What I love about Drake (besides his looks. Duh!) is how he manages to look good in EVERYTHING he wears. Whether it's those black dungerees in concert (and yes, ladies, I've seen him live) or a suit at an awards show, he look amazing! And his lyrics, though raunchy, say the same about women. They always talk about looking great when you don't have makeup on, etc ("Best I Ever Had"). So with your sexy voice and a weird raunchy respect for women's beauty, I salute you, Drake (see title link).

Check out the Dizzy Barrel Bag from Puma! The Women's Accessories are all stylish, but this is a great tote that doubles as a bag. Comes in 4 colors, but the Dark Shadow Silver Viridian Green Graphic is by far the funkiest version. Super flirty to take to the gym or for a day out. Significant room inside with lots of pockets for practical storage, but feminine at the same time. 100% nylon, two-way zipper, and nicely-designed handles. Retails for $50 (see title link).

TRESemme Conditioner for Color

TRESemme's Color Protection collection is a new group of of shampoos and conditioners from the brand's product line. The Color Revitalize Conditioner promises to protect your vivid color for 40 washes (see title link) to keep it looking healthy. I've never permanently dyed my hair, so I cannot comment. Worth checking out, though? Contains green tea, rosemary, and sunflower for moisture. Promises to be lightweight, although I'm not sure how any conditioner can be lighter than another.

Night cream for sensitive skin

We all know and love the lip balm from Burt's Bees. It's considered one of the better products on the market, and their other products for the face are no different. The Sensitive Night Cream, priced at $15, is perfect for sensitive skin because it contains cotton extract to calm it (see title link). Promises to not cause redness or irritation, and helps to minimize the effects of other cleansers. Rice extract moisturizes, along with aloe. Make sure to use it every day to get a consistent effect! Oh, and did I mention it was fragrance-free and hypoallergenic? What could be better?

I've posted about Secret Scent Expressions several times, but this new flavor I discovered, called Coco Butter Kiss, is simply excellent. So natural and blooming at the same time! The Invisible Solid antiperspirant and deodorant definitely leaves you fresh all day and I only need to use it daily! Buy it pronto (see title link), and you won't be disappointed!

Okay, I rarely have anything bad to say about the products I post (in fact, I try to only post good products, because no one wants to read about things that are bad anyway), but when I saw these shoes featured by a more prominent fashion blogger named Mandy Fierens, I had to speak out. Mandy is a stylist for Modcloth, a brand I generally have a lot of respect for because of their unique but tasteful styles. After looking through her outfits, I have a lot of respect for Mandy as well. She's a curvy girl and looks great in everything she wears! But these shoes were an exception. The City Summer Night Heel from ModCloth designer Jeffrey Campbell costs a whopping $125 (see title link), and are probably one of the most atrocious pairs of shoes I have ever seen. To call them heels is to overestimate their classiness. To call them Mod Retro Vintage Heels is just insulting. They are made of blue velvet, and have extra sparkles to stand out. Oh, and that hideous bow? It's clip-on, thankfully, so you can take it off (or hide it on the strap). They promise to stop traffic - oh, you'll stop it all right, but for all the wrong reasons.

Treatment for your frizzy hair

L'Oreal Paris' Hair Care line just released a new brand called the EverSleek Smoothing System. It has several shampoos, conditioners, and treatments. The one I noticed was the Frizz Taming Creme Serum (see title link) with an MSRP of $8.99. It's silicone-free and promises 48 hours of frizz control, more than any other that I've heard of. With the humidity of rainy days, your hair will be stay sleek and shiny, without that artificial weighted feeling. Try it out!

Wishlist Pick: Stuart Weitzman Boots

I initially saw Emma Roberts wearing these Stuart Weitzman boots in February while shopping at Chanel in Beverly Hills. Emma paired hers with black jeans for this matching combo that made her legs look even slimmer, but these boots can be pulled off with any streamlined outfit. The 5050 boots are $595, and are a highlight of the designer's "Tall Boots" section (see title link). You can fold over the top if you'd like, but the unfolded fits over your knee. I love its practicality and modernity, a feat difficult to accomplish. It's pull-on, though, which limits it to a certain audience.

Foundation that doesn't break the bank

A bottle of Rimmel London's Clean Finish Foundation costs only $5 (see title link)! Can you believe it? From a leading brand in the UK at that! The mattifying liquid foundation promises you a 100% poreless look, and contains Vitamin A & E to control that oil. It allegedly lasts all day, but I haven't tried it for a long day yet. Definitely something to check out, though! They have such wonderful products for the face.

Cords for Petite girls

O'Neill has a cool collection of women's pants and jeans. Jeans can be found in many places, but it's really difficult to find a good pair of cords. Some look like you just woke up and are coming in pajamas, while others in funky colors just make you seem like you're trying too hard. Gray cords with a fairly skinny fit do the trick. That's what I found here (see title link). For petite girls, these $50 corduroy pants help show off slender legs while adding definition. Looser shapes should just not be done!

Fit Me [well, you, technically]

I know lots of cosmetic brands tend to fit your skin tone perfectly, but Maybelline New York has taken it to a whole new level by naming their whole collection after it. FIT ME Foundation ($8) is part of a great group of products to make your face absolutely flawless. It feels fresh and contains SPF 18. Did I mention it also comes in 18 shades?

I was intrigued by the Shade Finder (see title link) that they feature on each product's page, so I tried taking the quiz to find mine. Honestly, for those of us who don't know if we're "warm" or "cool" it's useless. They need a simpler way of finding the shade.

Tyra Banks: Supermodel, TV Show Host, Mogul, and AUTHOR!?

Disclaimer: I have NOT read this book (yet). But noticing that Tyra Banks has published her own book called Modelland was reason enough to warrant a post. The $12 book is available on Amazon (see title link), is about a regular girl named Tookie, who aspires to be one of the famous. I'd say it's worth an Amazon reader preview for sure! Macy's has a great denim sale going on right now. These Do Denim Jeans are great skinny jeans with a horseshoe back pocket, and have a great dark wash with embellishments. Originally $24.50, they're on sale for just $19.99 (see title link)! Love the faded parts and the way it makes your legs look hot! I've found tons of jeans at Macy's in the past and their Juniors Section is definitely my go-to. The jeans are always machine washable but fit well. These jeans come with belt loops in case you need a better fit, though.

Bright, waterproof eyeshadow

CoverGirl's new Intense ShadowBlast eyeshadow is super rich because it has the primer built into the formula. The Blue Bomb color is absolutely dazzling, although it comes in 6 different colors (see title link). Just $6!

College Rules for the Road

One hard tip about college and freshman year roommates? You're bound to get sexiled at one point or another. Yep, your roommate will want you out while she's hooking up with someone. So make friends with others nearby to crash (see title link)!

Samy Dry Icing Instant Re-Styler can be used to tame your flyaways. I have ridiculously curly hair and definitely need some creamy pomade to make it better. Safest way to straighten hair

We all know using flat irons is bad for your hair. But if you're going to do it anyway, use one that's powerful enough to do it in a single pass! When I work out, I like to wear a sports bra to give me some extra support. Some women can rock just those without shirts, but I'm definitely not jacked enough to do that. I found this on the Men's Section of Obey Clothing's website, but the Belmont Knit Top is honestly a great part of their Tops collection that is perfect for women as well. Slightly pricey at $43, but it's lightweight and looked awesome on Terra Nova's Landon Liboiron in a magazine, who claims in an interview that "love is like a bee" because it can "sting when it hurts" but also be the most beautiful thing in the world (see title link).
